Create custom alerts based on patient data or activity

EMIS Web allows users to create custom alerts that prompt the EMIS user about specific information.

For example, for practices using EMIS Partner product Ardens, users will automatically receive the following prompt when a patient is coded as a new T1 Diabetic:

In this case, the prompt has been created to trigger when:

• A new T1 diabetes diagnosis is added
• To a patient who is over the age of 60

The prompt is configured to remind the clinician to consider an urgent abdominal CT to exclude pancreatic cancer.
