With patient records often spanning decades of care provision, patients can end up with a substantial volume of documents, including outbound letters, imaging and inbound letters.

In some electronic health record systems, identifying a relevant letter can become a painful exercise, but in EMIS Web you can:

• Search for all document titles containing a specific word or phrase (e.g., endocrinologist)
• Filter by problem to see documents or consultations linked to a specific problem
