EMIS Web facilitates easy letter writing with the inbuilt Microsoft Word integration.
From within the consultation module, or simply from a patient record, you can create a new letter.
Letters can be populated from pre-defined and configurable templates. You can create and manage templates within your EMIS settings.
The template structure allows you to pull in existing fields, such as first name or recent consultation data, or create placeholder text which you are prompted to populate when writing a letter.
Once the letter is created, you can save to the record and then share with the patient or another clinician (e.g. a referral) using a tool like Hero's communication module.
