How to check or remove a temporary address
Access Registration: Open the EMIS Web Menu, select Registration, then choose Registration again to find the patient.
- Edit the address: Click Edit Patient and go to Additional Addresses. Update the address fields if the patient’s situation has changed.
- Remove the address: If the patient is no longer staying at that location, clear all temporary address fields and click OK to save.
Setting up local reminders or flags helps avoid forgotten temporary addresses. This ensures all merges and letters use the correct details.
