How does GP Triage work?

Patients submit their request online, and then either book directly into an appropriate slot at the practice, or submit their enquiry for review

1

Patient shares symptoms

The patient (or proxy) visits the practice's website, and engages GP Triage's chatbot. They share their symptoms in a conversational format, with GP Triage's AI prompting the patient for more information about their symptoms.

2

GP Triage's AI algorithm assigns a priority

The patient's presenting condition and symptoms aid in assigning a priority to the enquiry. The patient can either then opt to book an appointment - with the recommended slot type determined by the priority - or submit the enquiry for review. For example non-urgent presentations will be offered non-urgent appointment slots.

3

The enquiry is reviewed, and saved to record

The patient's enquiry - whether submitted or booked into EMIS/TPP - can be reviewed and saved to the clinical record system for the purpose of auditing.
