Check your EMIS Web version
If you see an error message like “Application is not the correct version”, open the EMIS Product Manager and reinstall the EMIS Web Client. This ensures you are on the latest version for a stable login.
Reinstall for persistent errors
If EMIS Web freezes or you see the EMIS.Host.Client has stopped working message, open EMIS Product Manager, right-click EMIS Web Client and select Reinstall Product. After reinstallation, attempt to log in again. If problems continue, consider contacting your local support team.
Review your smartcard or password input
- Ensure you haven’t typed your PIN or password incorrectly three times. If you have, ask a system administrator to reset your smartcard or EMIS Web password.
- Disable any extra smartcard readers and close multiple EMIS Web windows, as they can cause login issues.
Use the status page
If your logon fails unexpectedly, click the Status Page link on the EMIS Web login screen. This shows any known service issues that may affect login.
