To activate the Consultation Write Back Enterprise Agreement in EMIS Web, follow these steps:
- Data Sharing Agreement: Submit an online data sharing agreement with details of all the organisations you wish to include in your Consultation Write Back agreement.
- Activate Agreement: Once the Consultation Write Back Enterprise Agreement is enabled by EMIS for your organisation, navigate to Configuration > Data Sharing Manager in EMIS Web.
- Select Agreement: Click on Appointments, locate the [PCN Name] Enhanced Access Consultation Write Back agreement, and select Activate Agreement.
- Agreement Terms: Review the agreement terms, then click Next to proceed.
- Formulary and Prescribing User: Select your local formulary and a prescribing user. This user should have a GMP PPD Code and be set with a Job Category of General Medical Practitioner.
- Integration: Ensure Managed Referrals are deactivated before using Consultation Write Back, as activating Managed Referrals might disrupt the function.
- Remote Consultations: If using remote consultations, it is advised to deactivate this agreement following the above steps.
