Configure an organisation-wide default shared record view so that staff can consistently see the most relevant data when accessing shared records. This can speed up patient care and reduce confusion.
Steps to set this up
- From the EMIS Web menu, select Care Record > Summary. If no patient is selected, you will be prompted to choose one.
- On the ribbon, click CR Config to open the Care Record Configuration screen.
- Under Organisation Options, click Sharing Navigator.
- Select My record, All records, or choose a specific care record sharing agreement you want to set as default.
- Click OK to confirm your changes.
By setting a default view for your whole organisation, you can save time for administrators and clinicians, as they’re not having to adjust individual settings each time they access shared data.
