Setting your own default shared record view
In EMIS Web, you can choose how you want to view shared records by default, instead of relying on your organisation’s setting. This can save time and ensure you always see the most relevant information first.
Steps to set your default view
- From the EMIS Web Menu, point to Care Record and select Summary.
- On the ribbon, select CR Config (Care Record Configuration).
- Under User Options, choose Sharing Navigator.
- Select your preferred default view: My record, All records, or one of the listed sharing agreements.
- Click OK to confirm.

To make changes at your own level, ensure you have the necessary RBAC activity (for example, B0380 Perform Detailed Health Record) enabled on your smartcard.
