- When a patient needs a Fit Note or an EPS prescription, the clinician can start a remote consultation session from the PCN Hub.
- Access the patient's GP system through EMIS Clinical Services and manage the consultation by utilizing the templates provided by the practice. Ensure to have the NHS number on hand for efficient patient tracing.
- If issuing an EPS prescription, ensure the PCN Hub has an activated Y Code on the NHS Digital Spine, the prescribing GP has a valid prescriber code, and the smartcard in use is appropriately set up.
