Adding a Review to a Problem in EMIS Web
Enhancing the continuity of care within the EMIS Web system is straightforward with the ability to add reviews to patient problems. This functionality enables healthcare professionals to maintain up-to-date and thorough care records, ensuring that patient management is both efficient and comprehensive.
Step-by-Step Guide to Adding a Review
- Access the Problems screen via the EMIS Web menu by pointing to Care Record and selecting Problems. If a patient is not already selected, you will be prompted to do so.
- On the Problems screen, select the problem for which you wish to add a review.
- In the Consultations section of the Detailed View pane, click Add Review. This opens the consultation containing the selected problem in which the Consultation Properties screen will be displayed.
- Complete the Consultation Properties screen with necessary details and click OK.
- Add the specific consultation details and once again click OK to finalise the update.
This streamlined process helps in keeping review dates current, facilitating a proactive approach to patient care by ensuring timely follow-ups and adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
