Hero Health - EMIS Web Support Guide

What is the difference between “Locked” and “Embargoed” slots in EMIS Web?

Locked slots are typically used when a slot must remain completely off-limits or unalterable. They can only be unlocked or changed by staff who have adequate permissions, preventing accidental bookings or edits.

Embargoed slots are restricted for booking until a certain time or condition is met. Once the embargo period is over, these slots automatically become available for booking. This makes them valuable for reserving on-the-day appointments or ensuring certain times remain free until you choose to release them.
