In EMIS Web, this ensures that administrators and clinicians can quickly identify, filter, and manage telephone consultations, helping you track outcomes such as ‘No answer’ or ‘Telephoned, advice given.’
How it helps
Telephone slots let your team reserve dedicated times for remote calls, which can reduce patient traffic on-site, save time in clinics, and protect patient privacy. You can also colour-code these slots and assign an icon to highlight that no in-person attendance is required.
This approach can free up staff to handle other tasks and reduce waiting room congestion, especially during peak periods.
