Enhancing Navigation with Function Keys
Function keys (F1–F12) in EMIS Web offer a straightforward way to reach important modules without hunting through menus. This helps you manage daily tasks more efficiently and focus on patient care. Below is a summary of how each function key can help:
- F1 – Previously opened EMIS Web Help (now replaced by external support content)
- F2 – Opens Workflow Manager (Tasks, Lab Reports, Document Management, etc.)
- F3 – Takes you to the Summary screen (patient Care Record)
- F4 – Activates Context Find to locate data
- F5 – Launches Find Patient, letting you quickly change the active patient
- F6 – Opens Consultation History in Care Record
- F7 – Accesses the Investigations View Reports screen
- F8 – Files or saves data you’ve added
- F9 – Brings up the Medication screen
- F10 – Displays the Appointment Quick View for the logged-in user
- F11 – Shows Investigations Values View for lab results
- F12 – Opens the Protocol Launcher for running protocols
