Steps to resolve any outstanding tasks before archiving:
- Go to the Workflow Manager and locate all tasks associated with the patient, such as incomplete appointments, medication reviews or registration workflows.
- Complete or reassign these actions to another team member. Ensure each outstanding task is marked as finished.
- Return to Patient Archive under System Tools. Select the patient and attempt to archive again. This should now succeed.
Archiving ensures inactive records aren’t included in daily workflows, helping staff focus on current patients.
