Creating a session template can help you standardise regular clinics and speed up booking. To begin, select Week Templates from the EMIS menu under Appointments, then choose New Session Template.
Configuring your session
Complete the session details, such as the Session Name, Session Type (for example, Timed Appointments), and desired start/end times.
You can set:
- Slot duration (timed sessions): Decide how long each slot lasts.
- Appointment bookability: Mark slots as hidden or visible on Patient Access.
- Recurrence pattern: If you want the session template to repeat on certain days or over weeks, select Define and choose the pattern.
Add any session holders if needed. You can have joint sessions (for multiple clinicians simultaneously) or individual sessions for each user. When finished, click Save as Template to store it for later use.
