Viewing upcoming appointments

To see a patient's upcoming appointments, open the Appointment Book and search for the patient. Once their appointment details appear, you can view past and future bookings in the same screen. You can also press Patient Appointments at the top ribbon and select the patient to see a list of all future appointments.

If you need more detail, such as slot duration or appointment notes, right-click on any appointment slot to view additional information. This ensures you avoid double booking and gives you a quick way to confirm any existing visits.

Regularly checking upcoming appointments helps teams manage capacity, reduce confusion, and minimise patient wait times.

Did you know?

If you'd like to notify a patient quickly about an upcoming appointment date or any changes, you can use individual messaging through Hero Health’s integration with EMIS Web. That saves time on phone calls and helps patients attend on time.
