Viewing and Interacting with Household Information
Within the Patient Précis, you can easily check and manage details for people who live at the same address. First, select the patient so their name appears in the Patient Précis at the top of your EMIS Web screen. Next, expand the Précis by clicking on the downward chevron. Under Address, look for the Household link. Clicking this launches the Patient Find screen, showing other patients registered at that address. You can highlight any name to review or update specific records, which makes administrative tasks simpler and helps maintain a clear overview of family or co-residents.
For busy administrative teams, seeing an entire household in one click can reduce the time spent searching and improve record accuracy.

Knowing who else resides at the same address can be helpful for shared mailings, quick cross-checks of demographics, and ensuring sensitive patient details are handled properly.
