Resetting a forgotten EMIS Web password
If you have forgotten your EMIS Web password, you can use the built-in reset process to regain access. This can save time and protect patient privacy by ensuring only authorised staff can log in. Follow the steps below:
- Open the EMIS Web logon screen and select Reset Password.
- Enter your Username and Organisation ID when prompted, then confirm the mobile number displayed is correct.
- Check your phone for the security code sent by text. Type the code into EMIS Web.
- Fill in your forename, surname, date of birth, and the answer to your security question to verify your identity.
- Enter a new password following EMIS Web’s requirements, then click Finish. You can now log on with your new password.
Note: You must have previously saved your security details in EMIS Web. If you have not, please contact your local system administrator to reset your password.
