Yes, you can merge appointment slots in EMIS Web. Simply hold the SHIFT key to highlight the consecutive slots you want to merge, then right-click, point to Slot Actions and select Merge Slots. This combines them into one longer slot, ideal for consultations that may require extended time.
Merging can be a timesaver for staff managing complex cases – allocate extra consultation time quickly without rearranging the entire schedule.
If the appointment is cancelled, you can unmerge the slots so that they revert to their original duration.
