Searching by a patient’s unique ID in EMIS Web can be done using the tools you already use to find appointments, such as Patient Appointments or Find Slot. When prompted for patient details, simply enter the ID in the search field where you would normally input a name. This helps pinpoint the patient more quickly and retrieve any existing bookings or appointment history associated with that ID.
If the patient is registered, you can also use the Patient Trace function to narrow down results further, ensuring you select the correct record. Once you have selected the patient, all past, current, and future appointments will be displayed, allowing you to view, book follow-ups, or cancel if necessary.
