In order to enable successful Consultation Write Back in EMIS Web, the Patient Type must be set to Regular. Additionally, the GP Links Registration Status must be appropriately configured. Any one of the following statuses will support the functionality:
- Notification of registration
- Medical record sent by FHSA
- Record Received
- Left Practice. Still Registered
It is crucial that these settings are verified to ensure that Consultations can be written back successfully into the patient’s GP record. This configuration is important as it allows seamless updating of patient records between different systems and improves the efficiency of clinical workflows.
