Accessing the referrals involves selecting the EMIS Web menu, proceeding to the Care Record, and choosing Referrals. Once you have identified the referral you wish to modify, follow these steps:
- Select the required referral from the list in the Referrals section of the Care Record.
- On the ribbon at the top of the screen, click on Mark As.
- From the dropdown list, choose the new status you wish to assign to the referral, such as 'Accepted', 'Rejected', or 'Pending'.
The status update will be immediately reflected in the Status column, ensuring all users accessing the patient's care record have the most current information available.
