To access and search for referrals in EMIS Web, follow these steps:
Access Referrals
Navigate to the EMIS Web menu, point to Care Record, and select Referrals. Ensure you have a patient selected; if necessary, manage any differences in the Personal Demographics Service (PDS) for the patient.
Search for a Referral
Once in the Referrals section, you can search for a specific referral:
- On the ribbon, click Search View.
- In the search box that appears, type the relevant text or clinical term. Results will populate as you type.
- If you need to clear the search, click the red cross at the right-hand side of the search box.
Using the search functionality can help administrators quickly find specific referrals, streamlining administrative tasks and reducing the time spent navigating through patient records.
