The Summary Care Record (SCR) Additional Information Protocol allows healthcare professionals to include more comprehensive data in a patient's SCR for improved patient care. By default, SCRs include core and additional information, unless a patient opts out or requests core information only. The protocol ensures that additional patient data, especially for those on specific clinical registers, is considered.
