Quick Launch Menu provides a set of shortcuts to the most frequently used modules in EMIS Web. You’ll see it on the left side of the homepage, allowing you to open areas like the Care Record or Appointments with a single click.
Configuring your Quick Launch Menu
To add or remove shortcuts:
- On your EMIS Web homepage, find the Quick Launch Menu pane.
- Click the configure (gear) icon at the top right of this pane.
- In the Customise Quick Launch Menu window, select the module(s) you want.
- Click Add to move them into the right-hand pane, then choose OK to confirm.
You can hold CTRL to pick multiple non-consecutive modules or use SHIFT to choose consecutive options. These shortcuts then appear in your Quick Launch Menu, ready to use whenever you log in. This can be especially handy if you frequently swap between prescribing and reporting features.
By setting up shortcuts to your most-used modules, you can reduce clicks and streamline your daily tasks.
