Enabling the Configuration Switcher
Before switching between multiple EMIS Web organisations, you need to enable the Configuration Switcher on your PC:
- On your Windows desktop, select the EMIS folder under Start.
- Click Configuration Switcher and choose Enable Switching when prompted.
- An icon for the Configuration Switcher is added to your desktop once enabled.
Switching to a different organisation
- Click the Change organisation option within EMIS Web (or from the Configuration Switcher icon).
- Enter the relevant Organisation ID (also known as the CDB number) and select Restart.
- If required, any EMIS Web updates for that organisation are automatically installed.
- When prompted, sign in with your usual credentials. Your EMIS Web session will now run under the new organisation.
Disabling the Configuration Switcher
- Open the EMIS folder from Start again and select Configuration Switcher.
- Choose Disable Switching if you don’t need frequent switching or want to lock down a device.
Swapping between organisations from a single device cuts down on multiple logins and streamlines your workflow—especially for users managing tasks across multiple sites.
