Enabling the Configuration Switcher

Before switching between multiple EMIS Web organisations, you need to enable the Configuration Switcher on your PC:

  • On your Windows desktop, select the EMIS folder under Start.
  • Click Configuration Switcher and choose Enable Switching when prompted.
  • An icon for the Configuration Switcher is added to your desktop once enabled.

Switching to a different organisation

  • Click the Change organisation option within EMIS Web (or from the Configuration Switcher icon).
  • Enter the relevant Organisation ID (also known as the CDB number) and select Restart.
  • If required, any EMIS Web updates for that organisation are automatically installed.
  • When prompted, sign in with your usual credentials. Your EMIS Web session will now run under the new organisation.

Disabling the Configuration Switcher

  • Open the EMIS folder from Start again and select Configuration Switcher.
  • Choose Disable Switching if you don’t need frequent switching or want to lock down a device.
Swapping between organisations from a single device cuts down on multiple logins and streamlines your workflow—especially for users managing tasks across multiple sites.
