When you delete a session holder in EMIS Web, any filters or appointments linked to that person immediately lose their association. If the session holder still appears in session holder filters, the system may prevent deletion to avoid data conflicts. Before removing a session holder, ensure you:
- Remove them from all session holder filters in the Organisation Options.
- Reassign or cancel any upcoming appointments or sessions under their name.
- Double-check that they’re not a designated holder in any existing week templates or recurring sessions.
If a session holder is in use, you won’t be able to delete them until all references are cleared. Once deleted, the user is no longer visible in the Appointment Book and won’t appear in session holder filters or templates, helping keep your system consistent and reducing administrative clutter.
