Overview
To manage appointments across multiple sites in EMIS Web, start by setting up Session Location Filters. These filters make it easy to switch between different branch locations and view only the relevant appointment sessions. You can also use custom colours to distinguish each site, helping your team stay organised.
Configure Location Filters
Steps:
- Open the Appointment Book configuration screen (click the EMIS menu > Appointments > Appointment Book).
- Select Session Location Filters in the configuration panel.
- Click Add to create a new location filter, then name it for clarity (for example, “Branch Site” or “Main Surgery”).
- Associate the relevant site with the new filter.
- Save and apply your new location filter. You’ll now see it on the Appointment Book ribbon, where you can switch views.
Use Session Header Colours
To clearly differentiate sessions in each location, apply distinct header colours:
- In Session Header Colours, select Location and choose the site.
- Configure unique foreground and background colours so staff can easily recognise each location in the Appointment Book.
