To link a document to a referral or a problem in EMIS Web, follow these steps:
Link a Document to a Problem
- Access the Documents tab from the Care Record.
- If prompted, select a patient using the Patient Find feature.
- Select the document you wish to link to a problem.
- On the right side of the screen, expand the Detailed View pane.
- In the Linked Problems section, click Edit Links.
- Use the Care Record Picker to select the problem(s) you want to associate with the document, then click OK.
Link a Document to a Referral
- Access the Documents tab from the Care Record.
- If prompted, select a patient using the Patient Find feature.
- Select the document you wish to link to a referral.
- Expand the Detailed View pane on the right-hand side of the screen.
- In the Linked Referrals section, click Edit Links.
- On the Select Referral screen, choose the referral you want to link to the document, and then click OK.
