- EMAS Manager: Both the source and target organisations need to activate managed referrals within the EMAS Manager. Without this, electronic referrals cannot occur.
- Patient Administration Usage: The target organisation must employ Patient Administration to handle referrals.
- Status Configuration: Ensure the services in both organisations are configured to accept inbound and outbound referrals.
