Generate an appointment slot report by practitioner
Open EMIS Web’s Appointment Reporting area and create a new Slot Report. In the Filter Data section, add or edit the relevant filters. To analyse appointments by a specific practitioner, select Session Holder and choose the required user. You can refine other details like appointment date, slot type and DNA, depending on what you want to measure.
Next, define the report format. You can choose rows and columns for categories like appointment date, slot type or DNA rates to compare across different clinicians or time frames. Then, pick “Count” or “Percentage” under Table options to highlight totals or proportions. Once you save, you can run the report on demand, or set a schedule to run it automatically at regular intervals. Use View Results to see outcomes in a table or chart, print them, or export to Excel for analysis.
Monitoring each practitioner’s appointment data (including DNAs, slot duration, or time of day) means practice administrators can identify trends or pressures on staff, helping to plan resources and optimise patient flow.
If you need to revisit or refine your criteria, select the report and click Edit to adjust filters like appointment date or practitioner. EMIS Web will refresh the data, letting you quickly generate fresh insights without having to create a new report from scratch.
