To access different Care Record modules in EMIS Web, begin by clicking the EMIS Web menu. Hover over Care Record and select the desired module. If you haven't selected a patient, you'll be prompted to choose one using Patient Find. The default screen you'll see is the Summary screen.
Understanding Care Record Modules
The Care Record encompasses various modules, each designed to manage and display patient data, such as clinic notes, lab reports and correspondences:
- Consultation Mode – Record information during patient consultations.
- Diary Screen – Manage and view planned patient consultations and follow-ups.
- Alerts – Notify users of vital missing information.

Alerts and auto-templates can be configured to notify you about missing patient data. You may choose to address alerts immediately, defer, or disable them for the session. To update patient information, click the 'Zap Key' to run an auto-template that corresponds to the alert, ensuring timely data updates.
