Re-sending a previously acknowledged interchange in EMIS Web can be a valuable step when clarifying transaction statuses with your trading partner. If you find yourself needing to resend an interchange because it has not been acknowledged, follow these steps:
Accessing Registration Workflow
Begin by clicking the EMIS Web menu, navigate to Workflow, select Workflow Manager, and then click on Registration in the navigation pane. Ensure you have the appropriate RBAC activity, B1680, in your role profile.
Finding and Re-Sending the Interchange
- In the Registration Workflow, go to the GP Links - Outbox section and locate New Registrations.
- Find the relevant transaction where the status shows 'Unacknowledged' or 'Unlinked'.
- Right-click the transaction and choose DTS, then select View Interchange History.
- Use Search By Number and input the interchange number supplied by your trading partner.
- Once located, right-click the interchange and select Re-Send.
