Which RBAC permissions are needed to process FP69 transactions in Registration Workflow, and how do I confirm I have them set up?

If you need to process FP69 transactions within the Registration Workflow module of EMIS Web, ensure you have the appropriate RBAC permissions set in your role profile. The necessary RBAC activity for accessing Registration Workflow is B1680 Manage Demographic Duplicate Records.

Once you have verified your permissions, follow these steps to process an FP69 transaction:

  • Open the EMIS Web menu and navigate to Workflow > Workflow Manager > Registration to access the Registration Workflow.
  • In the GP Links - Inbox section, click on FP69s.
  • In the right-hand pane, select the transaction that requires processing. Review the details displayed in the Transaction Information pane.
  • Choose the appropriate option from the Registration Workflow ribbon:
    • If the patient is no longer within your organisation's area, click Accept to send a deduction request to the trading partner.
    • If the patient remains with your organisation, click Reject and ensure their details are correctly entered in the GP Notes section of the GP Links Information tab.
“Handling FP69s efficiently helps ensure the accuracy of patient data and reduces administrative delays, ultimately supporting better patient care.”
