To cancel an eRS referral once you’ve started the process but decide not to proceed, follow these steps:
Accessing Referral Management
Start by opening Referral Management within EMIS Web:
- Click the EMIS Web menu.
- Navigate to Workflow Manager and select Referral Management from the navigation pane.
Cancelling from Pending CAB Service Selection
- In the Referral Tasks section, click on Pending CAB Service Selection.
- Select the referral you wish to cancel in the right-hand pane.
- On the ribbon, click Cancel Booking. This cancels the referral in EMIS Web and opens the eRS portal within EMIS Web.
- Within the eRS portal, cancel the referral and its corresponding UBRN.
Cancelling from Pending Letter
- In Referral Management, click on Pending Letter in the navigation pane.
- Select the referral letter task you wish to cancel.
- Click Open Portal to launch the eRS portal.
- Within the eRS portal, cancel the referral and its corresponding UBRN.
- Once back in Referral Management, click the referral letter task again, and then click Cancel Referral Letter on the ribbon.
- Confirm by clicking OK on the Delete Referral screen.
