This allows you to access other modules - such as the patient's care record - without losing your position.
Using the 'Sticky Tab'
The sticky tab ensures that your current workflows remain accessible as you move across the system. When you switch to other modules, the sticky tab remains visible above the module ribbon. A simple click on the tab returns you to the exact point in your workflow, avoiding the need to repeatedly start processes over or re-access specific tasks.
Navigating Between Modules
To navigate between the Workflow Manager and other EMIS Web modules:
- From the Workflow Manager Task screen, access another module using the EMIS button or the quick access toolbar.
- A sticky tab labelled with the task or module of origin will appear. Clicking this tab returns you to the test request on the Workflow Manager Task screen.
This functionality enhances efficiency by minimizing interruption during multi-tasking, enabling you to manage information retrieval alongside ongoing workflow processes.
