A diary entry in a patient's record on EMIS Web is a planned item or task associated with a clinical term, serving as a reminder for future actions such as follow-up appointments. Each diary entry corresponds to a single clinical term, ensuring clarity within the patient’s care record.
Adding a Diary Entry
To add a diary entry:
- Navigate to the Care Record and select Diary.
- Select Add and choose Diary Entry.
- Search for and select the appropriate clinical term.
- Enter the necessary information in the diary fields, choosing a specific date, or if uncertain, use 'NK' for "Not Known".
- Assign an appropriate clinician and enter any detailed notes in the Diary Text field.
- Click OK to save the entry.
