They take precedence over other local or shared warnings and are automatically shared among organisations with a Care Record sharing agreement.
- Shared Patient Warnings: Unlike CHIS warnings, these are visible only in the expanded patient précis for any organisation that partakes in a Care Record sharing agreement. This aids in better coordination and understanding of patient care needs across different healthcare settings.
Prior to sharing, local patient warnings require review and editing on an individual basis to ensure they are accurate and relevant before becoming shared warnings.
Cross-organisation warnings save time by automating the sharing of essential patient health alerts, ensuring vital information is easily accessible to multiple providers and thereby enhancing patient safety and care continuity.
To effectively manage these warnings, access any Care Record module, and navigate to the Ribbon to add, edit, or delete these warnings easily. You can only modify warnings that are created by your own organisation, ensuring that local control is maintained over sensitive information. When managing warnings, always ensure that the user action associated with them is clearly defined to prompt necessary alerts during patient data processing.
