To undo a previously merged patient record in EMIS Web’s Registration Workflow, follow these steps:
Access Registration Workflow
- Open EMIS Web and go to the main menu.
- Select Workflow Manager from the Workflow menu, and click on Registration.
Undo Merged Records
- In the Registration section's navigation pane, click on Duplicate Records.
- The right-hand pane will display duplicate record transactions. Using the ribbon, click View Merged Patients.
- A screen showing previously merged patient records will be displayed.
- Select the merged patient record that needs unmerging.
- Click Undo Merge on the ribbon, and then confirm by selecting Yes when prompted.
Undoing a merged record can swiftly rectify errors in patient data, ensuring each patient’s history is accurate and separate, enhancing the precision of care delivery.
