Hero Health - EMIS Web Support Guide

How do I switch between my own tasks and tasks I’m deputising for in Workflow Manager?

To switch between your own tasks and tasks for which you are deputising in Workflow Manager, follow these steps:

  • Access Workflow Manager from the EMIS Web menu.
  • On the Workflow Manager ribbon, click on Workflow View.
  • The Workflow View button will show options based on your configuration. You can choose to view:
    • Your Own Tasks: Displays tasks assigned directly to you. Look for your name accompanied by a green user icon.
    • Deputising Tasks: Shows tasks for any other user(s) you are deputising for, as well as your own tasks. If you are deputising, your name will appear with ellipsis (...).
    • Global Tasks: If you have global viewer rights, you can opt to view tasks for all users. The Global View label will indicate this setting.
Users who liaise across multiple roles can leverage Workflow Manager's deputising feature to ensure continuity in task handling, even during absences. This not only streamlines operations but also supports effective time management and task allocation.

Administrators should ensure local procedures are in place to avoid the risk of task duplication, especially when multiple users can access and action tasks concurrently.
