Setting Up DTS Mailbox for Out-of-Hours Reports

To configure your Data Transfer Service (DTS) mailbox to receive out-of-hours reports in EMIS Web, follow these steps:

  • Open EMIS Web and click the menu button.
  • Hover over System Tools and select EMAS Manager. This will open the EMAS Manager interface.
  • Navigate to the DTS tab in the navigation pane.
  • Select Inbound Documents and then click Activate Application. This will enable your system to start receiving out-of-hours reports.

Ensure that your out-of-hours provider is sending documents in the .ket (Kettering) format, which is compatible with EMIS Web. Additionally, they will require your DTS Mailbox name.

"By setting up your DTS mailbox, you can efficiently manage the influx of out-of-hours reports, ensuring that all critical patient information is seamlessly integrated into your system."

To find your DTS Mailbox name, go to:

  • Workflow Manager > Configuration > Organisation Options > Mailboxes
