In EMIS Web, marking a lab report as viewed or unviewed is a simple and essential process for managing patient records efficiently.

Steps to Mark Lab Reports

To mark a lab report as viewed or unviewed:

  • Access the Lab Reports Inbox through the Workflow Manager.
  • In the main pane, select the report you wish to update.
  • On the ribbon at the top, click on Mark as viewed to mark the report as viewed or Remove viewed to mark it as unviewed.
This functionality allows administrators to ensure that all lab reports are adequately reviewed, saving time and reducing the risk of missed critical results.

Visual Indicators

Once marked, a green tick will appear beside viewed reports in the Viewed column of your Inbox mailbox. This visual cue quickly informs team members about which reports require attention.
