Creating a Referral Letter
Begin by accessing Referral Management through the EMIS Web menu. Navigate to the Pending Letter section. Here, select the task associated with the referral for which you want to create a letter. Use the ribbon to click on Open Letter, which opens the New Patient Letter screen. Complete the referral letter as required.
Editing a Referral Letter
If you need to make changes to an existing referral letter, access the Pending Letter section in Referral Management. Select the relevant task and choose Open Letter from the ribbon. Confirm you wish to edit the document and make the necessary changes. Upon completion, options are available to save as draft, close and complete, or create pending send, ensuring the task stays updated according to your workflow needs.
Cancelling a Referral Letter
To cancel a referral task, navigate to the Pending Letter in the navigation pane. Select the referral letter task you wish to cancel. Click on Cancel Referral Letter on the ribbon, and confirm by selecting OK in the Delete Referral screen. This action removes the referral from the Pending Letter list, streamlining task management.
