Configuring Global Viewers and Deputies in Workflow Manager
EMIS Web users can configure global viewers and deputies within Workflow Manager to ensure tasks are effectively managed, particularly when team members are unavailable due to absences or other commitments. Here’s how to set it up:
Accessing the Configuration Screen
Begin by accessing the Workflow Manager Configuration screen through EMIS Web:
- Click the EMIS Web menu.
- Choose Workflow > Workflow Manager.
- Select Config on the ribbon.
Configuring Global Viewers
Global viewers have the capability to view tasks for all users in the specified module:
- Select Global Viewers in the Organisation Options pane.
- Click Add to select the user you want as a global viewer.
- Choose either User or Global for the default view.
- Click OK to apply settings.
Setting Up Deputies
Deputies can manage tasks when the designated user is unavailable:
- In the User Options pane, click Out of Office Settings.
- Select if you’re in or out of the office.
- Optionally enable deputies when in the office.
- In Manage Deputies, click Add to select deputies.
- Assign module permissions for the deputies.
- Click OK to finalise.
