To complete an incomplete registration in EMIS Web’s Registration Workflow, follow these steps:
Identifying Incomplete Registrations
Begin by accessing the Registration Workflow:
- Click on the EMIS Web menu
- Point to Workflow and select Workflow Manager, then navigate to Registration in the pane.
Within the Registration Workflow interface, proceed to the GP Links - Outbox section:
- Click on New Registrations. Here, registration transactions are visible in the right-hand pane, with 'Incomplete' displayed in the Transaction Status column for any unfinished registration.
- Sort the transactions by clicking the Transaction Status column header to group all incomplete registrations together, making them easier to address.
Completing the Registration
Once an incomplete transaction is selected, you will see additional details displayed in the Transaction Information pane. Follow these steps to complete it:
- On the ribbon, click Complete. The patient's registration details will be shown, with missing information marked by a red asterisk (*).
- Fill in all missing fields. Pay attention to the indicators to ensure all required data is added.
- Upon completing the necessary fields, click OK to update the registration status.
- The status will change to Ready to Send, and the registration will be sent during the next transmission cycle.
