The Medicine Management screen displays various sections including Prescription Requests and EPS Rejections, each section awaiting actions based on your workflow needs.
Prescription Requests
- Under Prescription Requests, manage and action requests for repeat medications.
- Use the Requests with Queries section for items with a safety warning or needing prior approval.
- For online service requests, ensure that Patient Facing Services are enabled at the organisation level for bulk sign-off.

Managing Workflow Tasks
On the Medicine Management ribbon, several actions can be performed, such as changing owners of tasks, adding notes, and printing request lists. Each option helps maintain an organised and clear workflow by assigning tasks appropriately and ensuring all necessary notes accompany prescription requests.
Make sure local processes facilitate regular checks on these sections to ensure timely and accurate prescription management. The top of the EMIS Web screen will display alerts about new tasks needing attention.
