To change the status of a clinical view in EMIS Web, follow these steps:
Accessing and Modifying Clinical Views
1. Open the Care Record Summary screen through the EMIS Web Menu.
2. If a patient is not selected, choose one from the prompt.
3. On the ribbon, click CR Config.
4. Under Organisation Options in the left-hand pane, select Clinical Views.
5. In the Organisation Clinical View Settings pane, choose from the Active, Inactive, or Archive tabs to find the relevant clinical view.
Changing the Status
Once a view is selected, the following options can be applied to modify its status:
- Deactivate or Archive: If a clinical view is active, you can click Deactivate to make it inactive, or Archive to remove it from general use.
- Activate: If a clinical view is inactive or archived, it can be reactivated by selecting Activate.

Note: The ability to change the status is only available for organisation-created views and cannot be applied to the pre-configured views provided by EMIS Web.
