To locate and resend a previously sent interchange in EMIS Web, follow these steps:

Access Lab Reports

Start by clicking the EMIS Web menu, navigating to Workflow, selecting Workflow Manager, and then choose Lab Reports from the navigation pane. This will bring up the Workflow Lab Reports screen.

Find the Required Interchange

Once in Lab Reports, click on DTS on the ribbon and select View Interchange History. If you have the interchange number from your trading partner, this step is made easier. Select Search By Number, input the interchange number, and apply the search.

Resend the Interchange

Once you locate the desired interchange, right-click on it and select the Re-Send option. This will initiate the process of resending the interchange to the trading partner, ensuring they receive the necessary information.

This functionality saves considerable time by avoiding redundant data entry and enhances operational efficiency for administrators handling patient records.
