To enable a user in EMIS Web to accept workflow tasks from sharing organisations, follow these steps:
Activate Data Sharing Agreements
Prior to enabling users to accept tasks, ensure that the necessary Data Sharing Agreements are activated. This step allows organisations to create and assign tasks across different practices.
Log in to EMIS Web and go to Configuration > Data Sharing Manager. Here, activate the CrossOrgTasks Data Sharing Agreement for your hub and each GP practice involved. This agreement facilitates communication between organisations exchanging tasks.
"Empowering users with CrossOrgTask capabilities enhances collaborative patient care across multiple sites, ensuring that tasks can be managed efficiently and effectively by all involved."
Enable Task Acceptance
Navigate to Configuration > Organisation Configuration and select Users. Locate the user who needs to accept tasks from sharing organisations. Within their profile, access the Cross Organisation Sharing menu and ensure the Yes radio button is selected for accepting tasks. Save changes to apply the settings.
This configuration permits the user to manage and respond to tasks sent across different entities, fostering a harmonised workflow within primary care networks.
Once these settings have been confirmed, the user will be able to accept and manage tasks effectively, contributing to a more streamlined operational process within the practice.
